Toddler Story

On a scale of 1-10, gaano kakulit ang toddler ninyo? 😭😭 Nagluto lang ako saglit, sabi ko behave muna sya. Pagsilip ko nakahilera na yung diapers sa sofa. 😭😭 Tapos sabi ko keep na niya yung diapers kasi madudumihan and hindi sya toy, alis ulit ako to check yung niluluto ko pagbalik ko, ginawa naman nya costume! 😂😂😂 Ending, natawa na lang ako. Kesa ma-stress pa, I took a picture na lang.hehe

Nagligpit din naman sya after, 3rd pic, storage box is lagayan niya talaga ng toys siya lang nakaisip na dun ipatas yung diapers. In fairness, natuwa naman ako sa idea niya.haha

Sometimes we feel so overwhelmed sa gawaing bahay, kalikutan ng anak and other things na kailangan gawin at matapos within the day. Because of this, minsan hindi natin napapansin na umiinit na pala ulo natin. nasisigawan ang anak, nadidistract and lalong hindi natatapos ang nasa to-do list natin.

Today, I realized, pwede naman pala hindi magalit. We have to choose our battles wisely so we can focus more on what to do. Instead na magalit, take a breather. Hindi naman masisira ang bahay kung hindi ka nakapaglinis, hindi din naman magkakasakit yung family mo kung di ka nakapagluto on time. Kapag nainis ka sa toddler mo kasi nagkalat siya, think before you speak. Bakit niya ginawa yun? There must be a reason.

Toddlers are normally playful, in this instance, maybe he thought that it’s okay to play with his diapers or maybe he’s bored with his toys. Siguro nag-explore lang siya and when he saw the diapers, maybe he thought, “Ah, maganda to a, malaro nga.” We will never know. 🙂 🙂 So, instead na magalit, I appreciated the fact na lang na he was able to file the diapers properly on the sofa and cleaned up after. Appreciated his creativity and imagination as well. 🙂 🙂
