Mint Relief, an All-Natural Quick Relief for Dysmenorrhea

Before I gave birth, I’m struggling every month because of dysmenorrhea (menstrual cramps). Sometimes, to the point that I faint because of pain. This was lessened when I had a son, but there are months that I still experience it.

I don’t really take medicine for it before because I am not sure what specific medicine to take. To manage the pain, I just use bottled hot water, tea, and essential oils — though the pain is still there, these somehow help me get through it.

Last June, I received Mint Relief just in time with my monthly period. According to Wellness Refill website, Mint Relief is an all-natural food supplement that provides a quick solution to the following stomach discomfort:

– Indigestion
– Bloating
– GERD
– Hyperacidity
– Acid reflux
– Heartburn
– Gastritis
– Dyspepsia
– Dysmenorrhea
– Stomach cramps and,
– other variety of stomach discomfort

Mint Relief Box of 10
10 Capsules per box – ₱149.95 at Wellness Refill website

Since it is all-natural, with peppermint and spearmint oil as the ingredients, and is Philippines FDA approved, I gave it a try. It is in a soft-gel capsule and you can really smell the mint. And, true to its promise, the pain was gone within 20 minutes. I just took it once, I’ll update this blog when I try it again next time if it’ll give me the same effect.

I have been hearing positive feedback from this supplement that I actually want to order a box for myself.

Good thing that it can be taken anytime with or without a meal, usually most medicine requires that a person’s stomach should have at least filled before the intake. And I’m amazed that’s fast-acting!

We have different pain tolerance and our bodies react differently. I know girls who never get dysmenorrhea pero ung iba, severe! Helpful din mag-take in ng meds if it’s unbearable na talaga.

Dysmennorrhea is normal though these aches may be mildly annoying and no cause for concern, but for another, the discomfort may be so severe she has to stay home from work/school. I’m glad products such as Mint Relief are readily available. And affordable.

When dysmenorrhea kicks in, sometimes you just lay in bed all day and endure the pain. Aaaaaaa 🙁 I’d take note of this one and would recommend this to my friends who also experience it.

This is a great alternative for women suffering menstrual cramps every month. However, I am made aware that your tolerance to pain will gradually decrease when you rely too much on medicines. So instead, I just corrected what is causing me pain, regular exercising helping me a lot too.
