Promise, it’s the last K-drama episode (not)…

“One more K-drama episode, and I’m done.” But who are you kidding? haha

Why give up?

Because it has taken a bunch of my waking and sleeping hours, I thought giving up Netflix would be a good start. But I found a new app where I can watch kdramas for free! hahaha

It’s not an addiction, but let’s leave it that way. When my husband passed away, the desire to watch K-dramas, along with music and snippets of Suga from BTS, grew stronger as it somehow kept me out of reality. Yes, they kept me sane, but they made me so busy that it’s affecting my daily life already.

I have decided to delete the app. But each time, a new interesting K-drama episode would pop up on my feed, and I’d be hooked again. I even made a Facebook page where I can post anything I like related to the drama I’m currently watching. Aaaah!

When did I start watching?

I can’t remember the exact date or the title of the first one I watched, but it was in 2018 when I was in Sydney. At that time, I was not fond of watching anything with subtitles or voiceovers. I only watch American series, but my niece introduced me to this interesting Japanese drama she’d been watching. Because I liked it, I watched another Japanese drama, then found K-dramas on Netflix, and you know what happened next. 😀

The culprits of my enslavement

I can’t seem to count how many dramas I’ve watched already. kdrama after kdrama after kdrama, I’m enslaved by these oppas.

If you’ve been watching, I’m sure these Korean actors’ names ring a bell. Here are my favorites:

Lee Jong Suk, Jo Jung Suk, Ji Chang Wook, Jung Hae-in, Wi Ha Joon, Park Seo-Joon, and a whole lot more.

Korean actresses that I like so much:

Gong Hyo-jin, Park Shin-hye, Park Min-young, Kim Go-Eun, Kim So-Hyun, and Lee Sung-kyung, among others.

What now?

Since I found a new way to justify why I am still watching these dramas, I guess no deletion of apps will happen. Yet. And you’ll read some write-ups here. haha but yeah, I won’t pay anymore. And I’ll keep it to a minimum.

Hooray for apps that let us watch for free! Wait! Are they even legal? Oh no!
