#JustWrite: Daily Writing Prompts Compilation

As we continue the #JustWrite workshop, I decided to compile the daily writing prompts and my answers here first with the required minimum words. So when I have enough time, I can write a full blog about each of these prompts.

Writing Prompts:

DAY 1: Have you recently changed your mind about something? What was it? What made you change your mind? (min 10 words)

Yes. Honestly, on some days, I thought of giving up this blog and just focus on my social media accounts. But, writing is the first reason why those accounts were made which started here so I changed my mind and told myself that I will keep this blog even if I am not writing anymore. When I get old, I’ll have something to remind me that once in my life, I became a blogger.

DAY 2: What Scares You Most in Life? Why? (min 10 words)

A mom I know just lost her husband today, unexpectedly. And, it made me think, “What if that happened to me?” I froze and blanked out for a second. I felt super sad just thinking about it. Looked at my husband intently and realized, I cannot live without him.

DAY 3: What qualities do you admire most in other people? (min 10 words)

People around me have a lot of admirable qualities. But the quality I admire the most is confidence.

DAY 4: What has been your morning routine this pandemic? (minimum 20 words, write as if you are talking to your best friend)

It’s been 8 months since the pandemic began. How are you? Me? I’m okay, I guess. My husband gets to stay and work at home, goodbye to our weekly LDR. I can sleep more and our mornings are happier than it used to be. I became very lenient when it comes to breakfast time and daily house chores are easier now because the hubby is here to help me.

A lot has happened though. We lost some family members, others contracted the virus but recovered (thank God!), I’ve been through a lot of stress (physically, emotionally) but let’s not focus on those, let’s talk about that some other time.

Day 5: What have you accomplished this week? Big or small, ichika mo na iyan, kaibigan! (minimum 20 words)

The writing tip for Day 5 is about CTA or call-to-action. So, instead of sharing something about the writing prompt, I wrote the recipe we recently tried and put a call-to-action at the end of the blog.

Day 6: What was something you used to believe as a child? (minimum 20 words)
